Our Mission

To partner with parents to disciple their children to faith in Christ, rooted in knowledge, understanding, and wisdom.

Our Vision

At Augustine, education is shaped by a Christian understanding of truth, order, and beauty. Students learn to read closely, think clearly, and communicate with confidence and humility. They engage mathematics and science as disciplines that train careful observation and sound reasoning, and they encounter music, art, and literature as formative expressions of beauty and meaning.

Through sustained study, shared traditions, and life together in community, students wrestle with enduring ideas, learn to evaluate arguments, and grow in discernment. Our aim is not simply academic achievement, but the formation of thoughtful, capable young people who are prepared for the demands of college and equipped to live faithfully and responsibly in the world.

Augustine Classical Academy began with a small group of families seeking a thoughtful and challenging education for their children, rooted in a Christian understanding of the world and shaped by the principles of classical education. Some of our founders encountered classical education through schools in other states; others through personal study and homeschooling. Together, they shared a conviction that education should form both the mind and the character, preparing students to engage the world with clarity, conviction, and wisdom.

In 2009, Augustine opened its doors to nine students in grades 8–10. From those early days, the school has grown steadily as families have joined a community committed to serious learning, meaningful formation, and life together. Today, Augustine serves approximately 120 students in grades K–12, continuing to grow while remaining intentionally relational and rooted in its founding vision.
